Suffering from constant headaches is not something that anyone enjoys. The head is such a sensitive area and when you are dealing with constant headaches, especially when they are migraines causing severe pain and suffering daily, it can be almost traumatic. Often people with constant headaches will not be able to leave the house and can even end up spiraling into depression. Before this happens to you, you need to find treatment and get yourself better.
If you suffer from constant headaches, your first step should be trying to determine what if anything is causing the pain. It is your body so you would know better than anyone. Consider what foods you are eating, what time you go to bed at night, any bad habits you may have and so on. Try switching your routine up a bit and see if you can figure it out. For instance, go to bed earlier a couple nights in a row and see if your headache pain wanes, as it may just be a result of you being tired.
For proper treatment, you should see a doctor. If you think you have come to any conclusions on what your constant headache causes are, absolutely feel free to tell your physician and see what they think. They may be able to confirm or deny your suspicions.
They will also work with you to find effective treatment of your headaches. To help relieve tension you could try taking a warm bath at night. Use essential oils or aromatherapy candles in lavender or rosemary to help you relax. Constant headaches and fatigue are very closely related.
You could also try putting a cold compress on your forehead. Alternating from cold to hot can also work well.

If you find these methods are not working so well and your headaches are still a burden, you may want to speak to your doctor about starting on prescription medication. Doctors are usually the first to offer this idea because it tends to work so well for constant headaches. No matter how frequent your headaches are medications like Imitrex and Excedrin are extremely effective headache remedies.
You would simply take them as prescribed, whenever you feel a migraine coming on. This can help prevent your headaches before they even start. Over time, you will start to recognize the warning signs and know when to expect a migraine.
Although there is not really a single cure for constant migraine headaches unfortunately, at least it is relieving for sufferers to know there are effective treatment options to help keep their migraine pain under control and maintain good health.
